Be OUT THERE

Be OUT THERE

“Be the change you want to see in the world”

Social Inc. aims to overcome the stigma associated with disability in high school. It takes a movement to change people’s attitudes... and the start of that movement is you!

Make a statement about Social Inc. Do something crazy to help promote Social Inc at your school. Individually or with a small bunch of friends, create a meme or a vine, do a flash dance, have a chalk fest, a jelly wrestle, an egg and spoon race, offer free hugs, or just dress up crazy to encourage people to ask questions about who you are and what you’re doing! Share with the Social Inc. community on Instagram @socialincau or Facebook Social Inc. 2013.

Whether you do it by yourself or with a friend or two... make people look and Be OUT THERE!

You can make a change towards inclusion by completing this Social Inc. Project in 5 easy steps:

  1. You can Be OUT THERE alone or in small groups of 2-4 students. Make sure you are inclusive – invite people of all abilities to join your group!
  2. Decide on your ‘thing’ (your imagination is your only limitation!) but keep it friendly.
  3. In your creation, try to include somewhere the Social Inc. logo or speech bubble
  4. Record your ‘thing’ and share with a photo or film.
  5. Share with the Social Inc. community on Instagram @socialincau or Facebook Social Inc. 2013
